Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Engineer experienced in FPSO topside projects with strong proficiency in Genie software. The role involves 3D modeling tool enhancement, macro development, and close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and review structural calculations and design for topside modules
- Utilize Genie software for advanced structural analysis and compliance
- Maintain and enhance E3D modeling/drafting macros and catalogues
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure accuracy and constructability
- Review and validate 3D models for clash checks and discipline integration
- Generate and review material take-offs (MTO) and support structural reports
- Collaborate with piping, electrical, and layout teams for interface resolution
- Contribute to standardization and knowledge-sharing across regional hubs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ structural experience in offshore topside design (FPSO preferred)
- Proficiency in GeniE software (essential)
- Solid understanding of structural design codes and offshore standards
- Familiarity with model review tools like Navisworks
- Strong analytical skills and engineering judgment
- Clear communicator with a collaborative work mindset
