Project Description
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a high-profile EPC shipbuilding project for a Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessel. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle in Busan, South Korea, ensuring the project meets all technical, financial, and scheduling requirements. This role is crucial to maintaining coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the execution of the Ro-Ro shipbuilding EPC project from initiation to delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the end client, Valinz, and ensure strong communication between all parties.
- Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and quality control in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Mitigate risks and resolve project issues to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor progress through regular reporting and status updates to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in shipbuilding, with a strong focus on Ro-Ro vessels and EPC project execution.
- Proven experience managing complex, international shipbuilding projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Korean is a plus.
- Availability to mobilize in Busan, South Korea on short notice.
