Role Description: The Pipeline Installation Analysis Senior Engineer is responsible for delivering fit-for-purpose rigid pipeline installation analysis to all projects and tenders supported by the Pipeline Group, with a focus on safe and cost-effective installation operations. This role involves managing a team of installation analysis engineers, handling project, FEED, or tender analyses, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform autonomous installation analysis of rigid pipelines (S-lay, J-lay, and/or Reel-lay).
 - Manage a team to ensure successful delivery of analysis activities.
 - Plan and oversee analysis scope for self and team.
 - Provide direct engineering guidance on specific subjects.
 - Ensure engineering services comply with company standards.
 - Develop fit-for-purpose installation solutions meeting client specifications.
 - Promote safety culture and initiatives.
 - Participate in training and development of engineers.
 - Contribute to department know-how consolidation.
 - Propose innovative, cost-reducing, and risk-mitigating solutions.
 
Authority and Dimensions:
- Operate within the Code of Conduct.
 - Support standards and procedures for Engineering and Operations functions.
 
Key Relationships:
- External: Client technical representatives.
 - Internal: Project Engineering Managers, PG(Pipeline Group) Package Leader, PG Lead Analysis Engineer, PG Lead and Senior Method Engineers, Offshore Resources.
 
Personal Specification:
- Familiarity with Orcaflex (mandatory).
 - Familiarity with Python and VBA (advantageous).
 - Familiarity with Abaqus (advantageous).
 
Working Conditions:
- Majority of work conducted in the home office.
 - International travel required.
 - Offshore/on-site presence during project execution phases.
