Description of Function
Integrated within the "Risers, Installation Analyses, and Umbilical" (RIAU) department, we are seeking an Analysis Engineer to support tenders and/or projects on riser global analyses and installation analyses.
Mission
Under the responsibility of the RIAU lead engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring designs and analyses comply with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides, Client Specifications, and Scopes of Work.
- Developing design briefs and bases and performing riser global analyses (extreme, fatigue, interference, etc.) using OrcaFlex.
- Producing and checking design documentation, including feasibility reports and detailed design reports.
- Ensuring adherence to QA/QC processes.
- Interfacing with project teams, engineering teams (installation methods, operation, geotechnics, etc.), and SCM.
- Being aware of overall project planning and being responsible for planning your Scope of Work.
- Ensuring knowledge transfer within the discipline and attending discipline meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Analysis: Perform and ensure riser global analyses are in accordance with industry standards using OrcaFlex.
- Documentation: Produce and review design documentation, feasibility reports, and detailed design reports.
- QA/QC Process: Ensure QA/QC processes are followed meticulously.
- Project Coordination: Interface with various teams and manage the planning and execution of your Scope of Work.
- Knowledge Transfer: Actively participate in knowledge transfer and discipline meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering or hydrodynamics.
- Experience: Relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry or equivalent, ideally with riser systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in FEA modeling.
- Expertise in OrcaFlex software.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.

Working Conditions
- Location: Majority of work is carried out at the regional main office site in Suresnes.
- Working Hours: According to local regulations and company policy.
