Job Summary: The Construction Supervisor will oversee and manage construction activities for E-house, architectural, and pre-fabricated building projects in Batam. This one-year contract, with potential for extension based on performance, requires at least 10 years of experience, with a preference for candidates with a background in mining, building, construction, and substation electrical engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Resolve any construction-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare and maintain accurate construction logs, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a focus on E-house, architectural, and pre-fabricated building projects.
- Experience in mining, building, and construction projects is preferred.
- Experience in substation electrical engineering is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all construction activities.
- Willingness to work in Batam and travel as required by project needs.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or supervision are a plus.
