Job Purpose:
An EPC Contractor is looking for a Hull Electrical Field Lead Engineer to join the team in Nantong for the hull conversion activities at the CMHI yard. This role involves interfacing with the yard, engineering, and construction teams to address electrical system-related construction issues, respond to technical queries (TQ), and collaborate with the design team in France for resolving complex electrical issues that cannot be handled locally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all electrical engineering activities related to the hull conversion at the CMHI yard.
• Address electrical system construction issues and respond to TQs.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams in France to resolve critical electrical issues.
• Ensure all electrical installations are completed according to project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to the on-site electrical engineering team.
• Engage in a familiarization period in France with the design and project team before mobilization to China.
Requirements:
• Experience: Senior engineer with extensive experience in electrical systems for hull construction and conversion projects.
• Skills: Strong technical problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and experience working autonomously in a field environment.
• Familiarization Period: Candidates must be available for several weeks in France to get acquainted with project designs and the team before starting work in China.
Terms and Conditions:
• Status: Single status.
• Annual Leave: 51 working days per year.
• Working Days: 6 days per week.
