Job Scope
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounts, Budget & Reporting to support the Finance Manager in managing accounting operations, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor the accuracy, validity and completeness of financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies, tax regulations, Indonesia GAAP and statutory requirements.
- Review monthly financial statement reconciliation schedules to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly financial analysis and prepare management reporting insights.
- Review journal entries to ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the system.
- Support annual budget development, including reviewing budget proposals from budget owners.
- Monitor actual budget implementation and perform actual vs budget variance analysis.
- Update quarterly budget forecasts where budget revision is required.
- Liaise closely with the Cost Control Department on project budgets during the construction phase.
- Develop and update accounting and budget-related policies and procedures.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during audit fieldwork.
- Assist in finance system development and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in accounting, budgeting and reporting.
- Big 4 audit experience would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Group accounting policies.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, especially in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Word.
- SAP HANA knowledge would be an added advantage.
