Job Summary
Responsible for providing hands-on mechanical support and maintenance for site equipment and machinery during project execution. Ensures all mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely within a port/marine environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
- Support installation and commissioning of machinery and site systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Identify faults and implement corrective actions quickly
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with supervisors and other disciplines on site requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
- Support emergency repair activities when required
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in mechanical maintenance or site support
- Experience in port, marine, construction, or oil & gas environment preferred
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with rotating/static equipment is an advantage
- Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns
