We are seeking an experienced Deck Foreman with expertise in FPSO hook-up operations for a short-term rotational assignment. The Deck Foreman will oversee and manage deck operations during FPSO hook-up activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate deck operations during FPSO hook-up, including managing personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure all hook-up activities are conducted safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings, providing clear instructions to the deck crew.
- Oversee the handling and securing of heavy lifting equipment, mooring lines, anchors, and related gear.
- Work closely with marine and construction teams to ensure smooth operations and integration of activities.
- Promote and enforce a high level of safety awareness among the deck crew, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of deck equipment, ensuring readiness and safe operation.
- Assist in the preparation of job-specific procedures and risk assessments.
- Report incidents, near misses, or any safety concerns promptly to the relevant authorities.
- Maintain effective communication with the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and other key personnel on board.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Deck Foreman with expertise in FPSO hook-up operations.
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety practices, regulations, and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a deck crew in a high-pressure offshore environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
- Required offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) and a valid offshore medical certificate.
- Familiarity with lifting operations, including rigging and slinging, and relevant marine equipment.
