Piping Material Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client documentation, FEED data, ITB package, and process licenser’s requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Analyze procurement & construction needs and establish piping material specifications (piping classes).
• Develop piping material specifications and coordinate with 3D CAD Administrators.
• Prepare and review piping valve data sheets, special item datasheets, and material requisitions (MR).
• Select applicable codes, standards, and specifications for job specifications.
• Conduct vendor documentation and drawing reviews after purchase orders.
• Provide mechanical data for the Line List, including piping pressure & NDE testing requirements.
• Prepare MTO instructions and supervise Bill of Quantities (BQ) calculations.
• Prepare job specifications for piping fabrication, inspection, and testing.
• Estimate and manage manhours and manpower planning throughout the project.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports, including engineering dashboards and project close-out reports.
• Liaise with the project team, procurement, and vendors to ensure successful execution.

About You:

• Degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-14 years of experience in Piping Material Engineering within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors, particularly in EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, piping materials, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
