Minimum 5 years relevant experience in gas processing projects covering proposal, basic design, detailed design, and execution.
Proven hands-on experience with MEG reclaiming and TEG dehydration units.
Strong working knowledge of Aspen HYSYS and PRO/II for process simulation.
Solid understanding of applicable Oil & Gas codes, standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams in EPC / EPCC or licensor-driven environments.
Demonstrated ability to work in structured, high-pressure project environments with strong organisation and responsiveness.
Job Description
Execute process engineering activities for gas processing facilities across proposal, basic engineering, detailed engineering, and project execution phases, with particular focus on MEG reclaiming and TEG dehydration systems.
Prepare and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Heat and Material Balances (HMBs), and equipment data sheets and specifications in accordance with project requirements.
Develop, review, and maintain process and utility P&IDs, process instrument data sheets, equipment lists, line lists, utility balances, safe charts, and cause-and-effect diagrams.
Perform and review process calculations including pressure relief valve sizing to API standards, line sizing and pressure drop calculations, hydraulic calculations, flare load calculations, and blowdown studies.
Carry out process simulations using Aspen HYSYS and PRO/II to support design development, optimisation, and technical justification.
Support the Process Manager during proposal preparation and project execution, including technical clarifications and coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Participate in HAZOP studies, HAZOP close-outs, and the preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning procedures, and operating manuals, ensuring compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
