Lead and coordinate process engineering activities throughout all project phases from concept through detailed design and construction for FPSO and Topside facilities.
Develop and review process design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, process datasheets, equipment specifications, and process simulations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Interface with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural engineers to integrate process design with overall facility design.
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL reviews and contribute to the resolution of actions arising from these reviews.
Support procurement and construction activities by reviewing vendor documents, participating in FATs and SATs, and providing technical support during installation and commissioning.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
At least 15 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on FPSO and Topside projects.
Proven experience in leading process engineering design teams through all project phases.
In-depth knowledge of process engineering principles, including process simulation tools (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) applicable to offshore oil and gas facilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience with detailed engineering and support of offshore installation and commissioning activities.
Ability to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and potentially travel to project sites as required.
