Scope of Work

The Flow Assurance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out detailed simulations and technical studies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of subsea pipeline systems. The primary focus will be on a subsea pipeline connecting the shore to a tanker, assessing various operational and environmental parameters to ensure safe and optimized flow conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct flow assurance simulations using industry-standard software such as HYSYS, PipeSim, or equivalent.
  • Prepare a comprehensive technical study report on subsea pipeline flow assurance, taking into account the project's specifications and constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and inputs for simulation and analysis.
  • Analyze and interpret simulation results to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in flow assurance studies.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in flow assurance engineering, preferably in the subsea pipeline sector.
  • Strong proficiency in flow simulation software like HYSYS, PipeSim, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with subsea pipeline design and operational parameters.

Job Specifications:

  • Subsea pipe connecting shore to Tanker.
  • Maximum forecasted daily throughput: 5500m³/h.
  • Subsea pipe length and smallest internal diameter: 14.4km, with specific material and coating details.
  • Pipe material
  • Outer diameter: 711 mm
  • Wall thickness: 19.05 mm
  • Coat Type: 3LPE 4.2mm
  • Minimum Concrete Coating Thickness:60~80mm
  • Material: API 5L PSL2 X65 MO
  • Seabed depth and water temperature gradient
  • Max Seabed depth: 25.5m
  • Water temperature gradient:15-38

Work Mode: Remote

Project Duration: To be determined based on project scope and requirements.

Start Date: Immediate (subject to candidate availability and project needs).
