Role Overview
Our client is looking for a Representatives to be based in their offices and act as day-to-day client-facing coordinators for an ongoing engineering project.
The role is operational and coordination-focused, acting as the interface between the client and the internal project teams, ensuring smooth communication, follow-up, and basic project monitoring until project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the client representative on-site, handling daily coordination and follow-ups
- Interface between client stakeholders and internal engineering / project teams
- Track action items, deliverables, and basic project milestones
- Organize and attend coordination meetings (internal & client-facing)
- Prepare simple reports, meeting minutes, and follow-up notes
- Escalate issues, risks, or delays to the Project Manager when required
- Support overall project administration and coordination activities
Required Profile
- Malaysian national (local content required)
- 2–5 years of experience in a project coordination, project support, or client-facing role
- Experience in engineering, construction, oil & gas, EPC, or industrial projects is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Comfortable working in a client environment and representing the project on-site
- Organized, reliable, and able to follow up independently
- Available immediately or on short notice
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to engineering offices / detailed engineering projects
- Basic understanding of project workflows and documentation
- Experience working with international clients or EPC contractors
Contract & Notes
- Short-term assignment (~4 months)
- Limited / no extension expected
- On-site presence required
