Mission: Under the responsibility of the RIAU Lead Engineer, you will:
- Ensure designs and analyses comply with industry standards, client specifications, and scopes of work.
 - Develop design briefs and bases, perform installation analyses.
 - Produce and check design documentation, including feasibility reports and installation analyses using OrcaFlex for SLWR, flexible, umbilical, and subsea structures.
 - Ensure QA/QC processes are followed.
 - Interface with project and engineering teams, as well as other functions like SCM and Operations.
 - Manage the planning of your scope of work.
 - Transfer know-how within the discipline and attend discipline meetings.
 
Capability Profile:
- MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering/hydrodynamics with relevant oil and gas industry experience.
 - Proficiency in FEA modeling and OrcaFlex software.
 - Fluent in English.
 
Personal Attributes:
- Responsible for producing deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, and third-party submissions.
 - Experience in multi-disciplinary system engineering teams.
 - Ability to prioritize workload, manage time, and inform team members of constraints.
 - Demonstrable ability to work within time and budget constraints.
 - Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
 
Desirable Knowledge:
- Naval architecture.
 - Flexible pipe design.
 - Offshore experience.
 - Python knowledge.
 
Working Conditions:
- Majority of work conducted at the regional main office in Suresnes.
 - Working hours according to local regulations and company policy.
