Key Responsibilities

Prepare and inspect cementing equipment before mobilisation and field operations.
Participate in pre-job planning, toolbox meetings and operational risk assessments.
Perform equipment rig-up, pressure testing, operation and rig-down.
Operate cementing units, high-pressure pumps, blenders, bulk systems and associated equipment according to competency level.
Mix, pump and monitor cement slurry and other treatment fluids according to the approved job programme.
Monitor pumping parameters, equipment condition and job performance throughout operations.
Identify and report equipment faults, leaks, abnormal readings and operational deviations.
Perform routine maintenance, servicing and basic troubleshooting of cementing equipment.
Ensure equipment remains in safe and reliable working condition.
Follow approved cementing programmes, operating procedures and client requirements.
Complete equipment checklists, maintenance records, job documentation and operational reports.
Coordinate with drilling personnel, client representatives and other service providers at the wellsite.
Participate in post-job debriefings and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
Comply with all HSE, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
Wear the required PPE and maintain all mandatory safety training.

For candidates engaged at Field Supervisor level:

Plan, coordinate and supervise cementing operations at the wellsite.
Lead cementing crews during equipment preparation and job execution.
Review cementing programmes, calculations, equipment requirements and operational procedures.
Verify crew and equipment readiness before commencing operations.
Monitor job parameters and make operational decisions within the approved programme.
Lead toolbox meetings, Job Safety Analyses and post-job reviews.
Troubleshoot operational and equipment-related issues.
Supervise, coach and assess junior field personnel.
Ensure job deliverables and reports are accurate and completed on time.

Requirements

Technical certificate, diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
Relevant experience in oilfield cementing or pressure-pumping operations.
Hands-on experience with cementing units, pumps, blenders, bulk systems and associated equipment.
Previous experience supervising cementing operations is required for Field Supervisor-level candidates.
Understanding of cementing operations, pressure control, equipment rig-up and wellsite safety.
Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting capability.
Able to understand technical procedures, cementing programmes and equipment documentation.
Good teamwork, communication and operational reporting skills.
Able to communicate in English within a multicultural working environment.
Physically and medically fit for field-based operations.
Relevant H2S, well-control, offshore survival, driving or oilfield safety certifications would be advantageous.
