Scope of Work
We are currently seeking suitable candidates for the position of HSE Lead to support an upstream Oil & Gas project environment.
The HSE Lead will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental activities for offshore/project operations while ensuring compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and regulatory standards.
The role requires strong offshore operational awareness, leadership capability, and experience supporting upstream project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead HSE implementation for offshore/site activities
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, procedures, and standards
- Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
- Support incident investigation and corrective action follow-up
- Promote safety awareness and strong HSE culture among project teams
- Monitor permit-to-work activities and high-risk operations
- Coordinate emergency response preparedness and HSE reporting
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders on HSE matters
Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of Oil & Gas industry experience
- Strong upstream project exposure
- Proven HSE leadership and regulatory compliance experience
- Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
- Valid DOSH Green Book certification (mandatory)
- Able to work offshore
- Offshore project experience is preferred
- Experience in E&P environment is an advantage
- Valid BOSIET certification required
- Relevant HSE certifications are preferred
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Immediate or short notice candidates are preferred
