Job Summary:
The Senior Structural Engineer will oversee and manage all structural engineering activities for EPCIC projects on behalf of the Owner, focusing on floaters. This includes reviewing contractor deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and providing technical direction to the EPCIC Contractor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and review EPCIC deliverables for structural engineering on behalf of the Owner.
- Supervise and oversee all structural work executed by EPCIC Contractor and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with API RP2A, ISO, and relevant international codes and standards.
- Interpret Owner’s project specifications and guide the EPCIC Contractor accordingly.
- Review EPCIC Contractor’s work using SACS software, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
- Provide expertise in design, analysis, and detailing of topsides and structural components.
- Conduct and review various analyses, including in-place, dynamic, spectral fatigue, load-out, transportation, lift, and float-over.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing coordination and communication support.
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Structural Engineer in EPCIC projects, especially floaters.
- Proficiency in international codes and standards such as API RP2A, ISO.
- Expertise in SACS software for structural analysis.
- Hands-on experience with the design, analysis, and detailing of topsides and related components.
- Competence in various structural analyses such as dynamic, fatigue, and transportation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with fluency in English speaking and writing.
