Job Summary

The FPSO Procurement Lead will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for a major FPSO project. This role requires the leadership and coordination of procurement operations, ensuring cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with project and client requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to manage the entire procurement lifecycle within the context of the FPSO project.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the procurement process for all materials and services related to the FPSO project.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers in accordance with project specifications and compliance standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure the best terms for the project.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
  • Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and reports, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Provide regular procurement updates and reports to senior management and project stakeholders.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in the energy industry, with at least 5 years in FPSO projects.
  • Proven track record in leading procurement for large-scale projects within the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor evaluation skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement regulations and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in a multicultural, cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement standards and regulations.
