Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead offshore commissioning execution, ensuring safe and efficient system completion, start-up, and handover to operations within a defined campaign schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning Leadership
- Lead system-based commissioning activities across disciplines
- Drive execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up plans Manage system priorities, sequence, and readiness status
System Completion & Handover
- Oversee mechanical completion (MC), pre-comm, and commissioning phases
- Ensure systems achieve Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) status
- Lead final handover to operations (RFO / RFSU completion)
Coordination & Interface
- Act as key interface between: Construction, Engineering, Operations, Vendors
- Ensure alignment across teams to meet project milestones
Problem Solving & Execution
- Resolve site issues, delays, and system readiness gaps
- Drive closure of critical punch items and outstanding work
Requirements
- Minimum 17+ years’ experience in oil & gas
- Extensive experience in offshore commissioning & start-up
- Proven leadership in campaign / shutdown / brownfield projects
- Strong understanding of:
- System completion philosophy (MC, pre-comm, comm, RFSU) Commissioning dossiers & documentation
- Must have led multi-discipline commissioning teams offshore
- Must be offshore-ready (BOSIET + medical valid)
