Scope of Work

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain exploration-related data and documentation, including well data, seismic data, maps, samples, and technical reports.
  • Maintain exploration databases, GIS databases, and document control systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Coordinate technical data submissions and transfers with PETRONAS, Joint Venture Partners (JVPs), and external stakeholders.
  • Support the administration and effective use of technical software utilized by the exploration team.
  • Coordinate software licensing, contract renewals, vendor support, and system-related requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and providing user support for exploration databases and technical applications.
  • Prepare maps, drawings, and basic data analyses to support exploration activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documents such as well proposals, drilling plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Support data sharing initiatives with internal teams, headquarters, partners, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Provide general technical and administrative support to the Exploration Department as required.


Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, Information Technology, GIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in data management, document control, technical administration, or similar support functions.
  • Familiarity with databases, GIS software, mapping tools, or technical applications would be an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of technical data and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
