Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design packages covering SLDs, load schedules, MCC layouts, cable routing, and grounding systems.
• Perform ETAP power system studies (short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, motor starting, arc flash).
• Review and prepare technical bid evaluations (TBE), vendor documents, and equipment datasheets.
• Support project execution from FEED through EPC phases, including site queries, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support.
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, Petronas PTS, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure alignment of deliverables.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; BEM registration preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas / EPC projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETAP software and electrical design deliverables.
• Familiarity with vendor coordination, FAT/SAT, and procurement input.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary project environment.
