Scope of Work

Role Overview

The Project Manager will lead the complete execution and delivery of a 618 MWp Large Scale Solar 5+ (LSS 5+) projects. This position demands strong leadership across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency. The role requires close coordination with contractors, regulators, and stakeholders to uphold project safety, sustainability, and performance standards.


Key Responsibilities

·     Direct and oversee all EPC phases of the LSS 5+ solar projects from planning to commissioning.

·     Manage project schedules, budgets, and manpower allocation to meet contractual targets.

·     Supervise EPC contractors, consultants, and site teams, ensuring compliance and progress alignment.

·     Monitor and report project milestones, KPIs, and key risk indicators.

·     Ensure strict adherence to HSE, local regulations, and environmental sustainability requirements.

·     Coordinate permitting, grid connection, and commercial operation milestones with authorities.

·     Conduct periodic project reviews, steering committee updates, and stakeholder presentations.

·     Resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently, escalating critical issues when required.

·     Maintain positive working relationships with consortium partners, suppliers, and local communities.


Requirements

·     Minimum 7 years of project management experience in solar, renewable, or power infrastructure EPC.

·     Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or related technical field.

·     Demonstrated success in delivering multi‑MW renewable or energy infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

·     Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysia’s EPC and grid connection landscape.

·     Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional coordination skills.

·     Familiarity with sustainability integration and environmental compliance practices.

·     Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

·     Location: Kuala Lumpur. Willingness to work on‑site in Terengganu on a time-to-time basis.

·     Fluency in English; Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese are a plus.
