Scope of Work

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise mechanical completion activities for piping, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
  • Monitor contractor performance against approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Conduct mechanical completion inspections and verify documentation and dossiers
  • Participate in walkdowns, punch listing, and acceptance activities
  • Liaise with shipyard teams, vendors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure strict compliance with QHSE requirements
  • Report progress, deviations, and punch list status to the project team


Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years mechanical engineering experience on offshore or newbuild projects
  • At least 5 years experience in mechanical completion and commissioning of FSO/FPSO/FPU or similar offshore units
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and completion documentation
  • Experience working in shipyards on offshore newbuild projects
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Right to work in China
  • Willingness to work onsite and physically able to conduct inspections in confined spaces and at height
