Key Responsibilities

Supervise mechanical completion activities for piping, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
Monitor contractor performance against approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Conduct mechanical completion inspections and verify documentation and dossiers
Participate in walkdowns, punch listing, and acceptance activities
Liaise with shipyard teams, vendors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues
Ensure strict compliance with QHSE requirements
Report progress, deviations, and punch list status to the project team

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years mechanical engineering experience on offshore or newbuild projects
At least 5 years experience in mechanical completion and commissioning of FSO/FPSO/FPU or similar offshore units
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and completion documentation
Experience working in shipyards on offshore newbuild projects
Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
Right to work in China
Willingness to work onsite and physically able to conduct inspections in confined spaces and at height
