Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as the Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for Utility Control Panels (UCP) and have substantial experience with Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems within the oil and gas industry, specifically in the context of FPSO operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for UCP:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Utility Control Panels.
- Ensure that UCPs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- FPSO Experience:
- Lead and manage E&I engineering activities related to FPSO projects.
- Provide technical expertise and support for the design, installation, and commissioning of E&I systems on FPSO units.
- Conduct detailed engineering studies and analyses to optimize E&I systems for FPSO applications.
- Technical Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct technical evaluations and risk assessments for E&I systems.
- Project Management:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for E&I engineering tasks.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all E&I engineering work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
