Piping Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop piping layout and isometric drawings using AutoCAD and 3D design tools (e.g., PDMS, E3D).
• Interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, and piping specs for design execution.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines for design integration.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry codes, and project standards.
• Perform clash checks and resolve design issues in 3D models.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Support material take-offs and bill of materials preparation.
• Maintain document control and revision tracking for all piping deliverables.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in piping design for oil & gas/EPC projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (PDMS, E3D, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of piping codes, standards, and materials.
• Familiarity with isometric, GA, and support drawings.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
