We are seeking an experienced Interface / Construction Engineer to support a Detail Engineering Design (DED) project in Kerteh. The selected candidate will serve as a key point of coordination between engineering teams, construction teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution from design to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate interface activities between engineering disciplines, construction, and third-party vendors.
- Review and manage interface registers and ensure all interface issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Support constructability reviews and ensure engineering designs are practical for field implementation.
- Liaise with client representatives and contractors to resolve interface and constructability challenges.
- Monitor construction readiness and ensure alignment with engineering deliverables.
- Participate in site visits, technical meetings, and project progress reviews as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- 5 to 7 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with exposure to both engineering and construction phases.
- Strong understanding of interface management principles and construction workflows.
- Experience supporting Detail Engineering Design (DED) projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be based full-time in Kerteh.
