This role is critical to ensuring that the Facilities (modules) of Project are fabricated and manufactured in strict compliance with the EPCIC Contract
requirements, project specifications, and approved design documentation. The Superintendent will focus on continuous monitoring and supervising of steel structure, piping, and equipment fabrication, coordinating with engineering, procurement, planning, PAPUA site, logistic, quality and safety teams, and proactive reporting to prevent any delays and quality deviations.
Responsibility
Contract and Technical Compliance : Thoroughly study and maintain complete familiarity with the Contract terms and conditions, specifically those relating to engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality assurance and PAPUA site installation also logistic.
Design Monitoring: Continuously monitor the Contractor and the Fabricator to ensure all purchasing and fabrication activities strictly adhere to the approved design documentation.
Deviation Control: Monitor for any potential deviations from the design or Contract and immediately raise concerns with the Modularization Lead and Contractor.
Schedule and Resource Management: Review the detailed fabrication and delivery schedules submitted by the Contractor and the Fabricator.
Closely monitor the timely availability and supply of necessary drawings, materials (including Free-Issue Materials), and adequate manpower.
Proactive Intervention: If resource shortages or schedule slippages are identified, consult with the Modularization Lead to supervise and ensure the CTR implements necessary corrective actions.
Fabrication Surveillance and Reporting: Provide specialized surveillance focusing intently on the fabrication processes for steel structure, piping, and equipment.
Supervise the module fabricator’s fabrication procedures/sequence including lifting analysis and lifting plan. Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during fabrication. This requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, project documents and Coordinate field engineering support.
Progress Reporting: Regularly assess the progress of design, procurement, manpower, and fabrication, providing frequent and accurate status reports to the Modularization Leader.
