Principal Accountabilities
The Regulatory Officer (Monitoring & Reporting) is responsible for ensuring that all company compliance obligations
with regulations and project permits are accurately recorded, monitored, and reported. This position manages
compliance data, monitors relevant regulatory changes, and ensures that any findings or potential non-compliances
are promptly identified and acted upon. This role serves as a safeguard for the accuracy and completeness of
compliance data, which serves as the basis for reporting to management and regulators. Through systematic analysis,
this position supports smooth operations and prevents the risk of non-compliance on projects.
Responsibility
• Responsible for maintaining all regulatory information up-to-date and validated.
• Identifying potential regulatory changes that impact the company's activities.
• Coordinating internal data requests for compliance reporting purposes.
• Supporting the Regulatory Compliance team in preparing for regulatory audits.
• Reporting compliance findings or issues to the Lead Regulatory Compliance Officer.
Work Relationship
Internal:
Lead Regulatory Compliance Officer, Sr. Risk Analysis Officer, Permitting Division (terkait permit obligations), HSE,
Operations, Project Team, Legal. Document Control / Data Management.
External:
Government agencies (report submission via portal), Regulatory vendors/consultants for technical interpretation, External auditors (for data provision only), OSS-RBA, SIINas, SIMPEL, KLHK, ESDM, etc platforms.

Essential Skills & Software Knowledge:
• Regulatory Monitoring Skills: The ability to read, analyze, and categorize regulations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Able to compile neat, accurate, and easy-to-understand technical reports.
• Analytical Thinking: Seeing the relationship between regulations and their impact on permits/operations.
• Attention to Detail: Very thorough, accurate data entry, and consistent.
• Communication Skills: Able to communicate formally in Indonesian and English for reporting.
• Time Management: Able to handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Technical Literacy: Proficient in regulatory portals such as OSS, SIMPEL, KLHK, ESDM.
• Problem-Solving: Able to identify compliance gaps and propose improvements.
• Teamwork: Work effectively with the Regulatory and Permitting teams.
• Confidentiality & Integrity: Maintain the confidentiality of regulatory documents and data.
• Proficient in MS Office; policy writing and reporting.
Work Experiences
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Law, International Relations, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory, permitting, compliance, or permit administration.
• Understanding of permitting and compliance processes in the energy/oil and gas sector is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand legal/regulatory documents.
• Ability to write clear and systematic formal reports.
• Familiarity with government digital reporting systems.
• Experience creating periodic compliance reports for companies or projects.
• Experience managing document databases and compliance trackers.
• Previous involvement in compliance audits or regulatory reviews is preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
