Scope of Work

Description: The Civil Supervisor oversees and controls activities related to civil works, ensuring that they are executed correctly in accordance with the project standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of civil works: Supervising all civil activities such as land leveling, excavation, foundations, drainage installation, cable trenches, and the construction of auxiliary buildings or structures.
  • Quality control: Ensuring that civil works comply with technical specifications and quality standards through periodic inspections and material testing (concrete, steel, etc.).
  • Plan review: Ensuring civil works are carried out according to design plans and technical specifications. This includes verifying proper implementation of foundations and structures for mounting solar panels.
  • Resource management: Controlling the proper use of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.), machinery, and tools necessary for the execution of work.
  • Team coordination: Supervising on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are distributed efficiently, and timelines are respected.
  • Safety on-site: Implementing and enforcing specific safety standards for civil activities, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and minimizing risks, particularly in excavation, foundation work, and work at heights.
  • Schedule control: Ensuring that civil works are carried out according to the established schedule, resolving any delays or unforeseen circumstances that may affect deadlines.
  • Technical problem-solving: Identifying and resolving technical problems related to land or the execution of civil works, proposing effective solutions to avoid delays or deviations from the project.
  • Documentation and reporting: Preparing daily or weekly reports on work progress, issues encountered, corrections made, and advances in the construction of civil components.
  • Coordination with other disciplines: Coordinating civil activities with other areas of construction, such as electrical and mechanical installations, ensuring that civil structures are ready for equipment and solar panel installation.
