Key Responsibilities
This role is focused on detailed engineering support for static equipment and mechanical packages. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Prepare and review static equipment engineering deliverables
• Handle pressure vessel and static package design work
• Review datasheets, specifications, calculations, and vendor documents
• Support technical bid evaluation (TBE) and vendor clarification
• Work closely with project, procurement, fabrication, and yard teams
• Ensure designs are suitable for offshore / floating unit requirements
• Support the detailed engineering stage of the project — not limited to FEED or site supervision
Candidate Requirements
Experience
• Minimum 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Demonstrated, hands-on static equipment and pressure vessel design exposure
• Prior involvement in offshore, FPSO, or floating unit detailed engineering projects strongly preferred
Technical Skills
• Strong working knowledge of static package design (pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, and similar equipment)
• Competence in reviewing and validating vendor datasheets, specifications, and design calculations
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for pressure equipment design (e.g. ASME, API)
• Experience supporting technical bid evaluations and vendor technical clarifications
• Comfortable working through the detailed engineering stage in a fabrication yard / EPC environment
