Role Description:
We are seeking an Installation Methods Senior Engineer to join our "Installation Methods Engineering" department within the "Global Project Center". You will be responsible for installing subsea structures, mooring systems, risers systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals. You will prepare scopes and support offshore crews during operations, ensuring effective interfacing with clients, suppliers, offshore crews, and design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers and a package.
- Handle external (clients, suppliers) and internal (installation, manufacturing, purchase) interfaces.
- Prepare documents and studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects.
- Supervise engineering activities for offshore installation.
- Plan, prepare, and confirm specific procedures and associated calculations.
- Participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases.
- Ensure compliance with Project standards (Quality, Cost & Time).
- Supervise subcontracted studies and validate contractor choices.
- Propose improvements and validate developments considering HSEQ standards.
- Participate in team development and expertise consolidation.
- Offer innovative, cost-reducing solutions.
Capability Profile:
- Master’s degree in Engineering with relevant energy sector experience.
- Experience in Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals.
- Desirable experience in Mooring Installation and Offshore Operations.
- Strong autonomy, coordination, and communication skills.
- Team leadership experience.
- Fluent in English.
Working Conditions:
- Majority of work at the home office site.
- Some international travel required.
- Offshore/off-site location during project execution phases.
