JOB DESCRIPTION
Principal Accountabilities (key tasks/services for which incumbent is responsible)
• Delivery of the projects as assigned in compliance with HSE, Budget and Schedule (latest
forecast) and Quality.
• Deliver the performance contract for the project based on latest forecast
• Deliver effective Leadership to the project team, stakeholders and inter-department.
• Manage all competent resources to provide the successful delivery of the project.
• Provide leadership for collaborative working across the functions to ensure integration of
the project with all relevant teams.
• Assist and lead where necessary in any JV Partner relationships.
• Participate and organise Peer Reviews as required.
• Develop and maintain an effective network with third party and package suppliers.
• Management of incentivisation agreements to ensure correct focus to project delivery in a
cost-effective manner.
• Maintain a clear view of the project timeline, cost, value and risk to value.

Experience
• Extensive oil and gas project experience ideally gained across a range of functions
including pre-development, project execution, operations and commercial.
• Experience of International developments.
• A demonstrable track record managing the full lifecycle of a multi-discipline project.
• Detailed knowledge of project processes including assurance and governance.
• Proven management and leadership skills, ability to communicate at all levels along with
business and commercial acumen.
• Ability to make decisions critical to organisational success.
• In depth knowledge of risk and assurance management principles, including decision and
risk analysis principles.
• Demonstrate good understanding of project economics and commercial / contracting
requirements.
• Experience in project value assurance, leading teams and briefing on outcomes to senior
executive level.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
• Degree qualification or equivalent.
• Chartered Membership of accredited professional body is desirable.
Recognised formal project management qualification is desirable
