Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Subsea Production System Umbilical Riser Package Control Lead to oversee contracts, planning, cost control, documentation, risk management, HR, and logistics for the Suriname B58 Project. This role is critical in ensuring the effective execution of the project with a focus on maximizing results while adhering to high H3SE and compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure exemplary compliance with HSSE rules, ethics, and the company’s Code of Conduct.
- Coordinate and support the Project Control team of the SPS package.
- Implement and monitor Project Control procedures, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Oversee subsea package risk management and maintain an updated risk register.
- Lead the contracting process, manage awarded contracts, and collaborate with technical specialists.
- Prepare, update, and control the subsea package budget; propose cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate and monitor schedules and progress, ensuring integration with the overall project timeline.
- Lead transverse activities, reporting, and task forces for the Subsea package.
- Establish and maintain the subsea package Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Manage HR activities, including mobilization plans and logistics.
- Contribute to the development of the Subsea package Implementation Plan and local development initiatives.
- Consolidate inputs for the Long-Term Plan (LTP) related to the Subsea package.
- Report issues and concerns to the Subsea package manager, ensuring rigorous management of change orders and claims.
- Perform and supervise project close-out activities, documenting lessons learned for future projects.
Job Requirements
- Education: High-level qualifications in Project Controls, Contract Management, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in oil and gas contracts writing, negotiating, and management.
- At least 10 years of project-specific experience in subsea production or related disciplines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and document control.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
