Welding Support Engineer – Offshore T&I

Trees Engineering is supporting an offshore Transport & Installation (T&I) project in Malaysia and is seeking a Welding Support Engineer for a 12-month assignment, with staggered onboarding from Q3 2026.

Responsibilities:

- Support welding engineering and fabrication activities.

- Assist with welding documentation, procedures, qualifications and records.

- Coordinate with welding engineers, QC/NDT teams, fabrication yards and offshore teams.

- Monitor welding-related deliverables, inspections, repairs and close-out actions.

- Support compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and quality requirements.

- Contribute to technical reporting and progress tracking.

Requirements:

- Relevant welding, fabrication, mechanical or materials engineering background.

- Experience in energy, marine, offshore or major infrastructure projects.

- Familiarity with welding documentation, inspection and NDT interfaces.

- Malaysia-based candidates with existing eligibility to work in Malaysia are encouraged to apply.

- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia would be an advantage.
