Scope of Work

Job Description:

The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

a. Support in the technical performance, maintenance, and optimization of energy assets.

b. Collection, analysis, and management of assets’ system information/data including maintaining all assets’ performance monitoring dashboards.

c. Assisting in the evaluation of plant operations, technical modifications, safety improvements, and strategies for enhanced efficiency and reliability.

d. Supporting operational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance efforts for assets.

e. Assisting in the preparation of necessary reports, budgets, and environmental compliance documents, including key performance indicators (KPIs) for managed assets.

f. Collaborating with team members and stakeholders on technical issues.

g. Contribute technical support in planning, executing, and overseeing power projects under the direction of a project lead or manager.

h. Collaborate with stakeholders to define scopes, timelines, and relevant inputs to meet development stage requirements such as technical inputs for financial modeling and commercial evaluation.

i. Assist in reviewing project documents, identifying potential risks, and making recommendations to project managers.

j. Address technical issues and provide innovative solutions as challenges arise.

k. Frequent traveling to power assets is required.


Requirement:

Candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

a. A bachelor’s degree in engineering related field such as Mechanical/Electrical engineering or other relevant engineering.

b. Knowledge and experience in power plant projects.

c. At least 5 years’ experience in thermal power plant O&M or asset management, with project-based or supervisory experience is a plus, coal and/or gas fired experience will be an added advantage.

d. Ability to analyze data, solve engineering problems and implement plans to improve efficiency.

e. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Good written and presentation skills with ability to write accurate and detailed technical reports.

f. Knowledge of ISO standards and industrywide good practices in power industry

g. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

h. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
