Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Stress Engineer with expertise in offshore oil and gas projects. The consultant will be responsible for conducting detailed stress analysis for piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The engineer will work remotely, preferably from Malaysia, and will collaborate closely with the client to estimate the required man-hours for the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis of piping systems using CAESAR or similar software.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and project specifications.
- Provide detailed reports and documentation as part of project deliverables.
- Collaborate with the client to accurately estimate and allocate the required man-hours for each deliverable.
- Conduct reviews and modifications as necessary, based on client feedback.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in piping stress engineering, specifically within the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience with at least 2 relevant projects in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAESAR or equivalent stress analysis software.
- Strong understanding of offshore piping systems and relevant engineering codes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively discuss and collaborate with clients remotely.
