Senior Piping Material Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the review of client documentation, FEED data, ITB package, and process licenser’s requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Oversee procurement & construction needs and establish advanced piping material specifications (piping classes).
• Develop and approve piping material specifications while coordinating with 3D CAD Administrators.
• Prepare and review complex piping valve data sheets, special item datasheets, and material requisitions (MR).
• Select and implement applicable codes, standards, and specifications for job specifications.
• Conduct in-depth vendor document and drawing reviews after purchase orders.
• Provide high-level mechanical data for the Line List, including piping pressure & NDE testing requirements.
• Prepare and manage MTO instructions and oversee Bill of Quantities (BQ) calculations.
• Develop job specifications for piping fabrication, inspection, and testing.
• Estimate, manage, and optimize manhours and manpower planning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate strategic weekly and monthly reports, including engineering dashboards and project close-out reports.
• Act as the key liaison between the project team, procurement, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.

About You:

• Degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Piping Material Engineering within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors, particularly in EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, piping materials, and specifications, with leadership experience.
