1.Summary
- Key role in developing, implementing and monitoring sustainability programs and decarbonization road map initiatives within PTTEP MY Asset.
- Drive environmental performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting sustainable practices across all operations and increase awareness and engagement amongst employees of PTTEP MY Asset.
- Engage, understand, and address stakeholders issues to ensure just transition as PTTEP MY moves along its sustainability journey
2.Principal Accountabilities
- Assist in development and implementation of PTTEP MY net zero road map, sustainability strategy linked to UNSGD Sustainable Development Goals and 2030 Emission Target.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for improving sustainability performance and reducing environmental impact from decentralized approach to a more structured approach.
- Lead the implementation of sustainability management through performance tracking, monitoring, verification of data and reporting.
- Lead sustainability programs and initiatives to improve awareness and knowledge on various aspects of sustainability, enhance the Company's visibility, and achieve industry recognition through awards.
- Focal person in ensuring that the sustainability programs and initiatives are aligned and in compliance with PTTEP Corporate Sustainability Policy and practice, Local States and Federal Environmental Regulations and Standards.
- Collect and analyze data for sustainability reporting and other stakeholder communication.
- Measuring and reporting accurate records of sustainability metrics and ensure transparency in reporting.
- Design and implement awareness and education program for employees.
- Promote awareness, understanding and engagement amongst employees on sustainability issues and company initiatives through training, workshops and communications.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulations to ensure proactive risk management.
- Assess and identify risk and develop mitigation strategies.
- Research and recommend innovative sustainability solutions and best practices.
- Benchmark Company's sustainability performance against industry standards.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including PETRONAS, JV Partners, Regulatory bodies, Communities and Employees.
3. KEY AUTHORITIES:
- Ensuring that all site activities comply with all COMPANY, PETRONAS, and Government requirements and regulations.
4.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sustainability softwares.
- Experience in developing carbon reduction roadmaps and identification of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emission
- Experience in planning and strategy in 0&G is an added advantage
