Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead QA/QC in overseeing contractor and vendor implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) during manufacturing and fabrication activities.
- Assist in preparing and implementing project quality documentation such as Quality Plans, Procedures, and Shop Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
- Perform inspections on modular assemblies to verify dimensional accuracy, material quality, and workmanship.
- Conduct structural inspections on welds, bolts, and connections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review and verify design specifications against approved drawings, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and fabricators to ensure alignment with contract and project requirements.
- Support overall QA/QC activities related to fabrication and modularization processes.
- Ensure all inspections and tests (cutting, fit-up, welding, NDT, etc.) are properly conducted and documented in accordance with project requirements.
- Inspect surface preparation and painting activities to ensure correct application and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, records, and certification documents.
- Assist the Lead QA/QC in coordination meetings with contractors and fabrication teams.
POSITION REQUIREMENT
Education & Experienced:
- Minimum Bachelor degree of Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Welding Engineering, or related field, with ten (10) years inspection experience in EPC and/or equivalent facilities / Project, He/She shall be able to read, write and speak English Language.
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction in oil and gas industries
Requirements:
- Qualified Welding Inspector CSWIP 3.1 Certificate (Mechanical)
- Familiarity with global standards and regulation
Skills:
- Proficient in quality data and quality reporting with good skills in MS Office, especially for MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication in English and interpersonal skills.
