Job Purpose :
To lead and advise on all Hull marine and naval engineering as Owner’s Representative, ensuring that the EPCIC Contractor delivers a design and execution that is safe, compliant, constructible, and aligned with project objectives. The role requires full-time presence at the fabrication yard in China during execution, with transition to Indonesia offshore commissioning and start-up. The candidate must be adaptable, technically sound, and capable of representing Owner interests in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Review, validate and approve EPCIC Contractor engineering deliverables and activities which includes marine systems and outfittings, living quarters, corrosion protection and material handling arrangements.
● Assist completion of Fire Control Plan and Life Saving Plan
● Perform walk down inspections, punch listing and witness functional testing including access the troubleshooting outcome with team.
● Assist Completion Team in Vendor Book and O&M Manual
● Review CTPs execution and sub-system priority and initiate necessary modification if any to meet the system handover process.
● Participate in Workshops, provide site engineering support, support yard system completion including gas trial and commissioning support.
Requirements:
● Degree in Naval Architect / Hull Piping & Mechanical / Ship Building Engineering from recognized University
● Minimum 10 years of experience in static equipment and package engineering, preferably within EPC or process industries
● Have hydrodynamics, mooring, stability, weight control, structural design, towing and installation competencies.
● Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
