Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Exploration Geologist to support subsurface evaluation and upstream exploration activities. This role focuses on seismic interpretation, prospect generation, and integrated geological analysis across exploration and appraisal phases.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary subsurface teams to deliver technically sound and commercially viable exploration outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform geological interpretation for exploration and appraisal projects
- Analyze structural, stratigraphic, and depositional environments using seismic and well data
- Support prospect maturation, including risking and volumetric estimation
- Contribute to well planning, prognosis, and post-well evaluation
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and management reviews
- Collaborate with geophysics, reservoir, and drilling teams for integrated subsurface studies
Key Requirements
- Degree in Geology / Earth Sciences (Master’s is an advantage)
- Strong experience in exploration geology within Oil & Gas E&P
- Hands-on experience in seismic interpretation and subsurface evaluation
- Exposure to offshore and/or deepwater environments is an advantage
- Familiar with geological software and interpretation tools
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
