My name is Jostein Lindhom, and I am a senior structural engineering professional with extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. Throughout my career, I have specialized in structural engineering, structural integrity, marine engineering, transportation and installation (T&I), and decommissioning of offshore assets.

I have worked on complex engineering projects across the entire asset lifecycle, providing technical leadership, engineering assurance, and practical solutions that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. My experience spans concept development, detailed design, structural assessments, integrity management, and life extension of offshore facilities, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and international engineering standards.

I am passionate about solving challenging engineering problems and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results. I enjoy leading by example, mentoring engineers, and helping organizations strengthen their technical capabilities while driving continuous improvement.

Through Lindhom Consulting, I provide structural engineering expertise and technical consulting services to the energy industry. My goal is to combine sound engineering judgment with practical experience to help clients manage risk, optimize asset performance, and deliver sustainable engineering solutions.
