About
My name is Mohd Qayyum Hamdani, and I have over eight years of experience in engineering, construction, and offshore project execution within the oil and gas industry. I started my career as an Associate Engineer at Dtec Engineering & Constructions, where I gained hands-on experience in construction supervision, site coordination, QA/QC support, and HSE compliance. I then progressed to the role of Project Engineer, managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work was executed safely and according to specifications. After that, I joined Petra Resources as an Offshore Planner and Field Engineer. There, I was responsible for planning offshore campaigns, preparing execution schedules, coordinating manpower, logistics, Permit to Work requirements, SIMOPS planning, workpack readiness, and monitoring offshore progress during maintenance and shutdown activities. Currently, I am working with Carimin Engineering Services as a Project Engineer and Field Engineer. My responsibilities include work scoping, constructability reviews, preparation of Simplified Workpacks, Technical Bid Evaluations, Material Service Requests, Material Take Offs, Site Stringing Reports, Notice of Inspection coordination, execution planning, project monitoring, and close-out documentation. I work closely with engineering, operations, QA/QC, procurement, and clients to ensure offshore maintenance and modification projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within project requirements. I enjoy solving technical and planning challenges, working with multidisciplinary teams, and continuously improving project execution. I am now looking for an opportunity where I can contribute my planning and field execution experience while continuing to develop professionally.
