Currently, I am employed as a Lab Technician at BMI Roofing Systems Sdn Bhd., where I have been working for the past three years. Before this, I worked as a Lab Engineer at SCOMI Oiltools Global Research & Technology Centre (GRTC) for seven years. I believe that the skills and experience I’ve gained in these roles make me a strong candidate for the position.

As a Lab Engineer, I developed advanced chemical and lab testing skills for drilling fluids.

Familiar with all types of drilling fluid such as WBM, OBM, SBM , HPHT drilling and much more. One of my main responsibilities was to test the quality of chemicals used in drilling fluids before they were sent offshore for drilling operations. This required precision and in-depth knowledge of chemical testing procedures, as well as the ability to prepare comprehensive lab reports. Over the years, I have conducted numerous tests and prepared many reports, which led to my selection for drilling fluid field testing in onshore Myanmar in 2014.

Additionally, my experience in the lab has given me extensive familiarity with various analytical lab equipment. At SCOMI, I gained hands-on experience using equipment such as the gas pycnometer for specific gravity, particle size analyzers, lubricity meters, and kinematic viscometers. I am confident that my lab experience, combined with my research and analytical skills, qualifies me for this role.
