I am a petroleum engineer with 14 years of experience in reservoir engineering. Over the past few years, I have worked as a researcher in enhanced oil recovery—three years during my PhD in Spain, and this past year in a similar role at the University of Stavanger in Norway. After my PhD degree, I have been eager to return to reservoir engineering.

During my time in the oil industry, I developed a solid foundation in classical reservoir engineering, reservoir management, and simulation techniques, as well as oil well optimization, performance diagnostics, and workover operations. I am confident that I could successfully contribute with my experience and technical knowledge level across several areas in the subsurface department. Additionally, I believe I am a fast learner and would quickly familiarize myself with Malaysian oil fields, its methodologies, software and culture.

In addition to my technical expertise, I consider myself a good team player and communicator, with a calm and polite personality, coupled with a strong sense of ethics and integrity.
