Taufik has over 25 years working experience in various industry such as manufacturing, FMCG, oil and gas, aviation, IT, and real estate. He started his career as Purchasing Executive with local manufacturer. He moved on to become more strategic procurement practitioner with several companies until he become Head of Procurement and exposed to regional and global procurement. His extensive in procurement strategy, category management and vendor management allow him to understand his stakeholder and business partners in a complex environment which enable him to deliver saving, develop supplier management and relationship with best practice in class. Taufik has demonstrated under his leadership, Malaysia Airlines has been nominated and won the Procurement Team Award at World Procurement Leadership both 2017 and 2018. Overall, Taufik is a highly motivated and self-driven leader, with an outstanding networking and leadership skills, he is confident to excel in this role with his proven track records.
