Nineteen years of experience in both Operations Geology & Well Site Geological Operations as the Operations Geologist, as well as previous experiences in Geological Modelling as the Development Geologist. Fulfilling the business needs by interchanging the dual disciplines, essentially helps to better understand and perform both duties independently, or simultaneously at a high level demanded.
Previous Operations Geologist work experiences include Peninsula Malaysia, Sarawak & Sabah Waters, Vietnam Operations, Turkmenistan Operations and Indonesia with PETRONAS Carigali; multiple drilling campaigns in Sarawak Waters with ROC Oil; Sarawak Waters & Malay Basin with VESTIGO Petroleum and as most recent is of North Malay Basin with Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Limited (formerly known as Repsol Malaysia Limited) .
Geological modelling work includes D21 FFR, Sapih & Tenom FFRs, South Mashrykov Exploration, Turkmenistan and J4 FFR.
Drilling campaigns were of clastic and carbonate drillings that involved exploration drillings, formation pressure testings and samplings, coring operations, carbonate drillings involving Pressure Mud-Capped Drilling (PMCD), as well as development drilling involved both conventional and Managed Pressure Drilling for depleted reservoirs on various well types including Extended Reach Deviated (ERD), Ultra Extended Reach Deviated (Ultra-ERD), Horizontal and multiple stacked reservoirs.
With these experiences, along with ability to adapt quickly and the eagerness to embark on continuous learning process everyday, ultimately envisioned to be able to contribute to the success of the project and be an asset of the organisation.
