Currently I am working Onshore for FPSO operation as marine Engineer(superintendent) in Guyana for

Exxon and SBM offshore (Guyana Enterprise) and technically supporting three vessels for technical

issues on a daily basis and long-term projects. and involved in budgeting on the marine side.

Previously was part of project in Singapore providing viable solutions to the SBM offshore Company and

part of the core crew. I was as well part of the FPSO conversion project until the completion and done a

couple of contracts on the field on rotation. The FPSO was located very close to a fixed platform as well

as a jack up rig where we used to visit for maintenance of the caterpillar generators and pumps and

running of freshwater generators, which have brought the company important savings. I possess a deep

knowledge of the oil and gas industry in using the best technologies and resources to deliver optimized

solutions according to your company’s specifications.

I have class I Certificate of Competency and sailed as chief Engineer and use the same to my advantage

to assist the Maintenance superintendent in carrying out his duties also carried out FPSO supervision

duties in his absence. And well accustomed with the latest rules and regulations

Responsible for the supervision, coordination, and quality performance of Offshore machinery

commissioning ensuring a constructive working relation with project team. Review operability and

technical aspects of new proposals to ensure the design is up to the required specification.

HSSE (Healthy, Safety, Security & Environmental) – support incident investigation with technical skills and

liaise with the parties involved to have proper root cause and action plan.

MOC (Management of Change) – manage all the parts involved to assure the safety, implementation of

each MOC in accordance with the procedure. I have completed my MBA in Oil and Gas from UPES

university in India which has helped me to understand not only the technical aspect but as well as

management need from company.

My expertise includes strong technical skills in all machineries we have onboard tankers and as well as

offshore vessels on medium/high/slow speed engines and various auxiliary machineries including various

kind of automations. In addition, FPSO Prosperity / La noumbi is a high voltage vessel operating at 11 KV

and had azipods of ABB for propulsion of 16.0 MW / 21767 HP and bow thrusters 2 x 1827 kW (3654) /

4970 HP and four generators each of Wartsila 9L38B and 6L38B at 900 RPM all generators were running

on fuel oil produced in the field. The power plant total capacity was 23.2 MW. All regular maintenance

and spare inventory carried out.

Three reverse osmosis plants were fitted onboard which could produce 450 tons per day, regular

maintenance carried out and as per requirement we used to produce 300 tons/day.

Engine driven fire pump and motor pumps were installed onboard where the fire lines were continuously

pressurized with the help of jockey pumps.Electric motors were fitted onboard for cargo discharging, all alignments were carried out by us in the

yard using laser technique.

I have sailed on offshore vessels at Bombay high as second engineer and worked on caterpillar engines.

and experience on high-speed engines which are used as emergency generator onboard ship.

have sailed on the latest ME-C(electronic) engines. worked on oil and chemical tankers, have vast

experience on steam turbine pumps and high-pressure boiler. Worked during two dry docks as senior

officer.

Taken over oil tankers for yard delivery as well.
