Ilyas is a geologist, explorationist, and geomodeller who has experience of exploration and development in oil and gas industry since 2014. He is currently honing his expertise on sedimentology, structural geology, seismic interpretation and subsurface geomodelling especially in energy-related field. He has experience as on various play of oil and gas exploration and development such as siliciclastic (fluvio-deltaic and deep-water type), carbonate (build up, rim and ramp type) and naturally fractured reservoir (crystalline – granite wash), which are mostly in Indonesia, some of it are in, North Sea, Northwest Australia, Offshore New Zealand and Barent Sea, Norway.
